We continue to update and expand our facilities to accommodate and promote special events. Be it a major public event, a wedding, a specific charitable function or a corporate picnic, the knowledgeable staff at Quai du Vin Estate Winery is available to help you with your planning details. During 2002, we built permanent outdoor washroom facilities, terraced the back lawn/entertainment area and acquired a 40' X 100' tent. We now have a new stage and dance floor as well as an upgraded hydro supply. These projects have been undertaken to make our facilities more usable under all circumstances.

Major Event

Our Events field will accommodate 1000 persons with ease. It is adjacent to our large parking field and both are surrounded by our scenic 22 acres of grapes. The Events field is terraced to a gradual lower elevation which focuses on the Dance floor and Centre Stage. The stage is backed by a forested area with pathways cleared throughout the scenic ravine. The new Tent can be assembled to accommodate 20' increments from 40' x 60' up to and including 40' x 100'. Allow approximately 10 sq. ft. per person. Therefore, the 40' x 100' size will service 400 persons.

Small Gatherings

Be it a family reunion, a corporate picnic, a volunteer appreciation event or a monthly service club meeting, our “Wine Press Terrace” will accommodate up to 100 persons in a casual setting overlooking our wine press and processing area adjacent to the water garden and retail outlet.
In addition, our court yard, located just outside the retail shop, will hold up to 25 people in our shaded gardens.
Bring a picnic, or choose from our savory dips, spreads and cheeses to accompany a glass of wine while relaxing in our peaceful country setting throughout the summer months.

Tours and Tastings

As in the past, Quai du Vin continues to offer all groups the opportunity to tour our vineyards and cellars and taste our products. There is no cost for tours which include a wine tasting. Additional services can be made available for nominal fees, such as wine appreciation seminars, the marriage of wine and food, additional wines, cheeses platters or light lunches.

Exchange your vows in a timeless setting. Imagine sunlight filtering through dappled leaves as you say “I do” in our forest glade. Imagine walking up the aisle to take photos in the vineyard while your guests socialize and relax in our new pavilion tent. Then join your guests for your catered reception and an evening of entertainment without the worry of travelling to different venues or time delays. Make the day as formal or casual as you wish. Quai du Vin will assist with knowledgeable advice and recommendations while you make all your plans.

Licensing

Quai du Vin public areas are licenced by the AGCO for the consumption of wine only. Any other alcohol served on the premises would require a Special Occasions Permit.
